HOTFOOT Online is One Dance UK’s bi-annual publication focusing on dance of the African Diaspora (DAD) and provides a platform for critical debate. This edition provides a snapshot of discussions, discussants and happenings in the dance of the African Diaspora sector. Our main focus is on giving an overview of the initiatives that have evolved or have been brought to light as a result of the recent Re:generations international conference, which brought together dance artists and other creatives, academics, and dance managers. We pinpoint where thinking in the sector is going, and who is starting to do what and where. We hope the stories will lead you to contact people, keep conversations going, research ideas and plan your own projects.
